NOYFC Coach/Referee Clinic

The NOYFC Coach/Referee Clinic is mandatory for all tackle coaches and will be held Sunday, July 24th at the Royalton Fieldhouse at 1pm. The fieldhouse is located at 10701 Royalton Rd., North Royalton, OH 44133 (map). Last building toward the end of the driveway. We will be going over all rule changes as well as drawing teams for division placement. Every tackle team must be represented.

Change In Varsity Weight Limits

  Earlier in the season the NOYFC board faced a tough task of trying to improve the varsity division and level out the playing field to be more fair and competitive. After much debate, it was decided to limit 12 year olds to only 5 participants per team and the 12 year old would be held to a weight limit of 120 lbs (which is listed on the registration). This change has caused many problems for most of the participating leagues in the conference by excluding kids that were then left with either no option to participate in football this season or forced them into a choice that was ill advised. It was agreed upon by all communities to keep the 5 player limit but to return the weight limit back to 150 lbs, as it has always been. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
